Random thoughts from under the black Resistol hat...
The road to WrestleMania X-Seven is heating up - it's a great time to be a fan of the WWF.
All eyes are on The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. This rivalry continues to develop on Raw is War and SmackDown and the anticipation is building. When these superstars collide in Houston - on the grandest stage of them all - it will be something truly special.
Al Snow's appointment as the new Commissioner of the WWF has been received well by fans. Only time will tell as to how well Snow performs in the role, but I think I speak for everyone when I say that I'm glad William Regal missed out on the opportunity. Plus, it's hard not to get a kick out of the Rattlesnake opening up a can of you know what on live television.
Eddie Guerrero is impressing everyone with his performance as of late. The star shows great potential as a main event headliner in the future and one should watch his developing career very closely.
Things are getting personal between Triple H and Chris Jericho. Jericho scored an impressive win at No Way Out and the young lion is looking to hold on to the Intercontinental Championship. Though some have chalked it up to sour grapes, it's hard to deny that The Game has a point concerning his victory over Stone Cold at No Way Out. With his fierce determination, Triple H will no doubt fight tooth and nail for championship gold - so Jericho needs to stay on his toes.
Tickets have sold out for the UK pay-per-view event Insurrextion in May. WWF Superstars will hit London, England in two months time. It will be very interesting to see what the title picture looks like by then.
Gangrel suffered a minor injury in his match with Kane during this week's Heat taping. The Superstar hopes to be back in action in the coming weeks.
Big Boss Man has been rehabilitating wear and tear from his long tenure in the ring. He is doing well and hopes to return to competition soon.
Brock Lesnar, one of our prospects at Ohio Valley Wrestling, has suffered a torn bicep and will be out of action for a number of weeks. We wish him a speedy recovery.
We have been in contact with Road Dogg who is continuing to work through personal issues. Though we have not made him an offer to return to the company, we are keeping in touch to monitor his progress and development.
Take care,
J.R. (Boomer Sooner!)
